Packaging:

The WHITEGLOW skin whitening & brightening gel crème comes in a cute bulky tub with a screw lid; Lotus Herbals has worked on their product presentation really well this time. 

About the crème:

The WHITEGLOW range is already hyped enough for its products, and this gel crème is not less worth the praise and hype.

In the entire range of products by WHITEGLOW, this cream is my third favorite, the first being the scrub and then the micro emulsion.

This is perfect day crème for summers. It’s a watery gel crème, which soaks up in the skin like magic, leaving the skin hydrated, sun protected and healthy looking. 

Reasons to love the WHITEGLOW skin whitening & brightening gel crème:

• The first advantage of the cream is that it has SPF 25, PA+++ (PA refers to the ranking of the sun protection of the product; PA+++ ranks the highest giving maximum sun protection).
• The crème is a water gel which penetrates into the skin within no time, although you may see a white cast whilst applying and you skin may look oily, but within 5 minutes of application the crème soaks up into your skin, leaving it moisturized and oil-free.
• You can certainly have your foundation on after applying the WHITEGLOW skin whitening & brightening gel crème (I am mentioning this, since I do it like every day and the WHITEGLOW skin whitening & brightening gel crème has no adverse effects on the looks and feel of your foundation and concealer routine) or simply let your skin breath with the WHITEGLOW skin whitening & brightening gel crème alone. 
• It has a subtle lingering scent.  Very fresh and apt for summers. 
• There are no specifications if it is a day crème or night crème but I like using it in the day times, since it gives the right sun protection and moisturization.
• The ingredients are the best catch for the product, grape extract, mulberry extract, milk enzyme, saxifraga extract, a sure treat for the skin.
• Suits my skin, I have a very sensitive combination skin, which tends to grow oilier by the summer, hence I was reluctant about this staying on my skin, but as claimed by Lotus Herbals, it works awesomely for combination skin too. Not just combination skin, it works like magic on my mum’s oily skin too.  It never leaves her skin oily or shiny looking.
• It’s for all skin types.
• The skin whitening and brightening part, well, I have been using it for a while over 7 days for sure but it hasn’t made my skin light in shade or bright, but yes it gives a nice radiance to the skin, a healthy glow. My skin doesn’t look polluted and dusted even when I am outdoors. 
• It did NOT break me out, which is GREAT for a sensitive skin person like me. 

Reasons to dislike the WHITEGLOW skin whitening & brightening gel crème:

I seriously can’t ask for more from a summer day cream, it certainly has no flaws.

Repurchase/ recommendation:

Yes, I would repurchase it for my summers, and I would recommend this to all ladies especially those of you all are outdoors, this would certainly shield your skin from the sun and dust thus helping you keep up the natural feel of your skin.

Ratings:

4/5 ( -1 for the skin whitening and brightening faux claims)

The Nature’s Co Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash- Review

Hello Ladies,

Today I am reviewing another cool summery product from The Nature’s Co, I will be sharing my views on the Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash, by The Nature’s Co.

As soon as I hear or read “Watermelon” I get this cool and fresh feeling by default, watermelon is undoubtedly my favorite fruit. I mean it happens just so quick that I associate Watermelon with something which is so cool and refreshing, the same happened with me when the PR told me that they were to send me the Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash.

And I must admit, I love it.

I used the Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash from The Nature’s Co “Starrize” range like for 2 weeks now, so I thought that I am educated enough to review it now.

Product Claim:

This luscious, juicy fruit is rich in vitamins and has antioxidants that help fight free radicals. Watermelon has high levels of fibers that provide moisturization and hydration. Walnut grits seeds gently complete body polishing treatment to eliminate blemishes and leave the skin clear, toned and glowing. In the shower or bath, spread the scrub over the entire body. Rub it in to exfoliate and then rinse well. It will leave you feeling smooth all over.

Price and quantity: 775 INR for 250 ml

Ingredients:

Each 100g contains,

Watermelon Extract-3%
Walnut Grits-3%
Kiwi Seeds-1%
Glycerin-2%
Gel Base, Aroma, Natural Preservatives and food grade colors (FD& C)
Products made using natural hill spring water.
Note: Some people may be sensitivve to the natural ingredients, used in this product.

Availability: The Nature's Co outlets, and you can also buy it online HERE.

About the product:

The Nature’s Co has an amazing range of personal care and wellness products, and all of their products atleast which ever I have used have exemplified as the best natural products ever, I like their ingredient list and pricing the most, and hence keep returning to the brand everytime.

To start of with , as soon as you open the flip flop cap of the bodywash you actually feel that this body wash is so refreshing, it smells so fresh and unsullied. The base note is the watermelon like scent whereas all the other notes are fresh and fruity ones (includes kiwi). It’s the best body wash for summers, it makes my summer showers more fresh and scented. 

Reasons to love The Nature’s Co Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash:
• The price and quantity, 775 INR for 250 ml of the product is defiantely affordable.
• The body wash will last you for a while since not a lot of product is needed for each shower, very little quantity suffices.
• It lathers beautifully, I mean a body wash must lather right?
• The texture of the body wash is gorgeous, it’s a red gel with brown granules ( supposedly the walnut grits) and black kiwi seeds. The watermelon extracts leave a soothing scent post shower and the walnut granules and kiwi seeds ensure that the exfoliation is mild and effective.
• It’s not at all runny, and neither too thick. 
• The scent of the body wash surely lingers for around 2-3 hours after shower.
• The body wash leaves the body clean, smooth and definitely supple. You can feel the suppleness and softness of the clean skin after shower.
• Some body washes tend to make the skin dry leaving it patchy and flaky, this not at all does it, it leaves the skin nourished and moisturized.
• The ingredient list is clear “win” indication, at least for me.
• It’s vegan and cruelty free. 
• It’s not at all harsh on the skin, very mild and soothing.
• It’s for all skin types. 

Reasons to dislike The Nature’s Co Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash:

I geniuinely find no cons for the product, I mean it totally stands by it’s claims and proves to be yet another outstanding product by The Nature’s Co .

Repurchase/recommendation:

Darn Yes, I will be using it through out summer and even after that. I recommend it to people who need a change with their body washes, and definitely to them who are looking for a nice summer body wash.

Rating: 5/5

Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Oatmeal & yogurt skin whitening scrub- Review

Today I will be reviewing the much talked about Oatmeal & yogurt skin whitening scrub from Lotus Herbal’s Whiteglow range.

I have been using the scrub for around 3 weeks now, and here’s what I think about it.

Product Claim:

Exfoliates & brightens skin for a healthy glow. Exfoliation plays an important part in fairness. The WHITEGLOW oatmeal & yogurt skin whitening scrub has micro granules that gently exfoliate the skin, removes excess sebum, dirt, impurities, blackheads and whiteheads leaving the skin brighter and healthier. The gentle exfoliating action works onskin discoloration, dull and uneven skin tones and softens the skin giving a firmer skin texture. Contains no harmful chemicals.

Oatmeal exfoliates gently, restores the natural moisture balance of the skin and yogurt moisturizes and lightens the skin reducing imperfections giving you silky, smooth and brighter skin.

Price and quantity:

145 INR for 100g

Ingredients:

D.M, water, gyceryl monostearate, glycerin, isopropyl myristate, polyethylene granules, avena sativa meal (oatmeal) powder, cetyl alcohol, stearic acid, light liquid paraffin, yogurt powder, sodium lauryl sulphate, 2-phenoxyethanol, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, alpha arbutin, fragrance.

Active Ingredients:

Oatmeal & Milk Yougurt

About the product:

Lotus Herbals is one of my favorite brands with skin care products, I have a combination and acne prone skin hence I am a bit apprehensive and reluctant in trying out new products, but like the other products from Lotus Herbals, even their Whiteglow range has not let me down.
The Oatmeal & Yogurt skin whitening scrub is one of the most talked about products from the entire WhiteGlow range, and after using it I know why. 
Initially when I started using it, I was a bit scared that the scrub might be too harsh for the face, but as I graduted with its usage I got to know why it claims to exfoliate and brighten the skin.
The scrub is a thick granular white paste. It has a pleasant and fresh fragrance. 
I use this scrub for about 4 days a week now, I mean I am just loving this scrub soo much that I always feel that I need to keep using it for clear and clean skin.
Its my favorite scrub now, as I have ditched St’ Ives apricot scrub .

How to use it:

Apply gently on moisturized skin with brisk circular motions on the face and neck. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Use twice a week for brighter and luminous skin. Follow with WhiteGlow Yogurt Radiance Mask for best results.

Reasons to like the Oatmeal & Yogurt skin whitening scrub:

First and foremostly, its for all skin types. I have a sensitive combination skin but this scrub hasn’t broke me out. 
The ingredients caught my attention next, oatmeal and yogurt, of course we all know about the famous oatmeal and milk mask, don’t we?
The price and quantity are totally justifiable, 100g of the scrub will last you long. 
It keeps up to all its claims.
• As soon as you use the scrub and wash your face you will feel that the skin is clean of all imputrities and dust.
• It’s the best exfoliating scrub I have ever used. 
• The blackheads and whiteheads are totally taken care off by the scrub.  I love it for this a lot.. My blackheads are totally in control because of this. 
• It doesn’t dry my skin, as in some scrubs tend to suck up the skin and cause break outs, this one doesn’t. 
• It does give soft and supple skin after usage. 
• I can’t say it give you a visible fair skin tone, but it definitely evens out your complexion. 
• It does make the skin firmer.

It has a non messy way of getting out the product with the nozzle kind of thing, unlike the typical flip flop caps, this also enables you to put back the extra product which can come out mistakenly.

Reasons to dislike the Oatmeal & Yogurt skin whitening scrub:

Can be a bit harsh if scrubbed too harshly, please do not scrub hard.

Contains Parabens, Lotus Herbals is supposedly a herbal and eco friendly brand, so I think they could have avoided the paraben factor.

Repurchase/recommendation:
Definitely yes, as soon as this tube gets over I will take a new one. I would recommend this product to everyone who is looking for a perfect exfoliator, and is miserably troubled by blackheads and uneven skin tone.

Rating: 4.5/5 (-0.5 for the parabens)

The Nature’s Co- Mango Mandarin Body Mist- Review

Hello Ladies,

I am back with a nice summery fruity review. 

The Nature’s Co sent my two products for reviewing, these are a part of their recent launches. Today I will be revewing the Mango Mandarine Body Mist, for all my beautiful readers. 

I have been using this mist for about a week now, and it has certainly made my summers a bit more fragrant and scented.  I hereby declare it to be the “officially made for summer” body mist. 

I have been using products by The Nature’s Co for quite some time, and the best part about it is it a Vegan as well as cruelty free , eco friendly brand. 

The Mango Mandrine Body Mist belongs to the Starrize range of the Nature’s Co. The Starrize range is inspired by the sun, the biggest star in our solar system. Like the sun, the products provide nourishment. But at the same time, they protect, especially against harmful radiation and its effects. Setting you up with the sparkle and energy to face the day.

Mist on this soothing mix with moisturizing Aloevera right after shower or bath. Don’t apply on cuts or inflamed skin. Keep away from flame or high heat.

Aloevera extract-5%
Vitamin E-1%
Vegetable glycerine-2%
W/S base, food grade colors and hill spring water.

About the product:
I am in love with it. (Not exagerrating) I mean my search for a perfect body mist for summers ends wiith the Mango Mandarine Body Mist. 
As soon as I open the bottle to spray , I am energized with this invigorating fresh, citrus scent. The key note is dominated by a mango-like perfume, but the subordinate notes are basically fruity and flowery. 

It has a very sweet fragrance to it, it almost smells like an mango candy stick.  Perfect for summers. People like me who love flowery fruity scents as compared to strong “cologne” type scents will relish this buy. 

What I like about the Mango Mandarin Body Mist:

Affordable

The smell is super fruity and fresh, People who do not like fruity scents STAY AWAY.

Just a spray works the whole day for me. :) I mean I am out for like 6 hours a day and the scent does subside but is never GONE.

It stays for a good -7 hours. :)It fades away leaving behind a very pleasant fragrance. :)

The first note is definitely Mango, but the heart notes are basic fruit and flower scents. :)

Perfect for summers, nor too heavy neither too light.

Does what a body mist should do, the scent lingers around without being to heavy. :)

100 ml goes a long way. :)

Vegan and cruelty free!!

Why I do not like the Mango Mandarin Body Mist:

I do not really have any con for this product, It may be too fruity scented for people who do not like fruity scents. :(

Repurchase/ Recommendation: Yes I would repurchase it, since I am in love with it. I would recommend it to everyone who's looking for a nice body mist, if you want to make your summers scented and fresh go ahead and pick your Mango Mandarin Body Mist. :)
