I am excited to review this product form the WHITEGLOW range by Lotus Herbals, this is my favorite product from the entire range, I am already on my second bottle, here’s why.

• The packaging is superb; I loved the pump given for this bottle. Apt for the product it’s neither a crème nor a gel.  Can be carried anywhere and everywhere. 
• The fragrance, the fragrances of all most all the WHITEGLOW products are more or less the same, this one has a milder lingering scent. I love it!!
• It has sunscreen, SPF 25, PA+++. It’s a wonder product for me.
• Keep up to all its claims, including the skin brightening one.  You can see your face looking bright and radiant after applying it and it doesn’t vanishes at the end of the day. 
• Very light soaks up into the skin like magic. 
• Doesn’t leave a white film or casting on application, drains in naturally. 
• The quantity is considerably good for the price; the bottle goes a long way, unless you use it three times a day unlike me. :P
• Hydrates the skin, it’s the mildest moisturizing crème I have come across, because of it’s this property I use it every day and sometimes mix it with my foundation too.  Try amalgamating the Skin whitening & brightening Micro Emulsion and your foundation you will love the results.


• Not much of the product is needed; just a pump or a two of the product is enough for the entire face and neck.
• Didn’t break me out, no irritation or skin redness. :)
• Not at all greasy, leaves the face very matte but hydrated and nourished.
• Has such a prefect finish, I mean your pores and uneven skin tones are almost invisible with it. 
• It’s my first favorite from the WHITEGLOW range  followed by the scrub and the gel crème.
• Suits all skin types, undoubtedly.






Reasons to dislike the Skin whitening & brightening Micro Emulsion:

NONE!!! I absolutely love the product. But the little thing which pinched me was the paraben content but I am happily ignoring it. :)



Repurchase/ recommendation:

I am already on my second bottle. I will continue to purchase it all summer.  I recommend it to EVERYONE, I mean it’s a MUST HAVE for every women and every vanity. 

About the crème:

The WHITEGLOW range is already hyped enough for its products, and this gel crème is not less worth the praise and hype.

In the entire range of products by WHITEGLOW, this cream is my third favorite, the first being the scrub and then the micro emulsion.

This is perfect day crème for summers. It’s a watery gel crème, which soaks up in the skin like magic, leaving the skin hydrated, sun protected and healthy looking. 






Reasons to love the WHITEGLOW skin whitening & brightening gel crème:

• The first advantage of the cream is that it has SPF 25, PA+++ (PA refers to the ranking of the sun protection of the product; PA+++ ranks the highest giving maximum sun protection).
• The crème is a water gel which penetrates into the skin within no time, although you may see a white cast whilst applying and you skin may look oily, but within 5 minutes of application the crème soaks up into your skin, leaving it moisturized and oil-free.
• You can certainly have your foundation on after applying the WHITEGLOW skin whitening & brightening gel crème (I am mentioning this, since I do it like every day and the WHITEGLOW skin whitening & brightening gel crème has no adverse effects on the looks and feel of your foundation and concealer routine) or simply let your skin breath with the WHITEGLOW skin whitening & brightening gel crème alone. 
• It has a subtle lingering scent.  Very fresh and apt for summers. 
• There are no specifications if it is a day crème or night crème but I like using it in the day times, since it gives the right sun protection and moisturization.
• The ingredients are the best catch for the product, grape extract, mulberry extract, milk enzyme, saxifraga extract, a sure treat for the skin.
• Suits my skin, I have a very sensitive combination skin, which tends to grow oilier by the summer, hence I was reluctant about this staying on my skin, but as claimed by Lotus Herbals, it works awesomely for combination skin too. Not just combination skin, it works like magic on my mum’s oily skin too.  It never leaves her skin oily or shiny looking.
• It’s for all skin types.
• The skin whitening and brightening part, well, I have been using it for a while over 7 days for sure but it hasn’t made my skin light in shade or bright, but yes it gives a nice radiance to the skin, a healthy glow. My skin doesn’t look polluted and dusted even when I am outdoors. 
• It did NOT break me out, which is GREAT for a sensitive skin person like me. 






Reasons to dislike the WHITEGLOW skin whitening & brightening gel crème:

I seriously can’t ask for more from a summer day cream, it certainly has no flaws.

Repurchase/ recommendation:

Yes, I would repurchase it for my summers, and I would recommend this to all ladies especially those of you all are outdoors, this would certainly shield your skin from the sun and dust thus helping you keep up the natural feel of your skin.

Today I will be reviewing the much talked about Oatmeal & yogurt skin whitening scrub from Lotus Herbal’s Whiteglow range.



I have been using the scrub for around 3 weeks now, and here’s what I think about it.

Product Claim:

Exfoliates & brightens skin for a healthy glow. Exfoliation plays an important part in fairness. The WHITEGLOW oatmeal & yogurt skin whitening scrub has micro granules that gently exfoliate the skin, removes excess sebum, dirt, impurities, blackheads and whiteheads leaving the skin brighter and healthier. The gentle exfoliating action works onskin discoloration, dull and uneven skin tones and softens the skin giving a firmer skin texture. Contains no harmful chemicals.

Oatmeal exfoliates gently, restores the natural moisture balance of the skin and yogurt moisturizes and lightens the skin reducing imperfections giving you silky, smooth and brighter skin.

About the product:

Lotus Herbals is one of my favorite brands with skin care products, I have a combination and acne prone skin hence I am a bit apprehensive and reluctant in trying out new products, but like the other products from Lotus Herbals, even their Whiteglow range has not let me down.
The Oatmeal & Yogurt skin whitening scrub is one of the most talked about products from the entire WhiteGlow range, and after using it I know why. 
Initially when I started using it, I was a bit scared that the scrub might be too harsh for the face, but as I graduted with its usage I got to know why it claims to exfoliate and brighten the skin.
The scrub is a thick granular white paste. It has a pleasant and fresh fragrance. 
I use this scrub for about 4 days a week now, I mean I am just loving this scrub soo much that I always feel that I need to keep using it for clear and clean skin.
Its my favorite scrub now, as I have ditched St’ Ives apricot scrub .


How to use it:

Apply gently on moisturized skin with brisk circular motions on the face and neck. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Use twice a week for brighter and luminous skin. Follow with WhiteGlow Yogurt Radiance Mask for best results.







Reasons to like the Oatmeal & Yogurt skin whitening scrub:

First and foremostly, its for all skin types. I have a sensitive combination skin but this scrub hasn’t broke me out. 
The ingredients caught my attention next, oatmeal and yogurt, of course we all know about the famous oatmeal and milk mask, don’t we?
The price and quantity are totally justifiable, 100g of the scrub will last you long. 
It keeps up to all its claims.
• As soon as you use the scrub and wash your face you will feel that the skin is clean of all imputrities and dust.
• It’s the best exfoliating scrub I have ever used. 
• The blackheads and whiteheads are totally taken care off by the scrub.  I love it for this a lot.. My blackheads are totally in control because of this. 
• It doesn’t dry my skin, as in some scrubs tend to suck up the skin and cause break outs, this one doesn’t. 
• It does give soft and supple skin after usage. 
• I can’t say it give you a visible fair skin tone, but it definitely evens out your complexion. 
• It does make the skin firmer.

It has a non messy way of getting out the product with the nozzle kind of thing, unlike the typical flip flop caps, this also enables you to put back the extra product which can come out mistakenly.



Reasons to dislike the Oatmeal & Yogurt skin whitening scrub:

Can be a bit harsh if scrubbed too harshly, please do not scrub hard.



Contains Parabens, Lotus Herbals is supposedly a herbal and eco friendly brand, so I think they could have avoided the paraben factor.




Repurchase/recommendation: Definitely yes, as soon as this tube gets over I will take a new one. I would recommend this product to everyone who is looking for a perfect exfoliator, and is miserably troubled by blackheads and uneven skin tone.

Makari Clarifying antiseptic soap- Review and pictures

I am back; remember I shared Makari products few days back with you’ll, here. I have been using their products for around 10 days now, so I thought that I can share my views on the same with all you ladies now. 



Today I am reviewing Makari’s Clarifying antiseptic soap.


Product Claim:

Thanks to its natural properties, this triple action soap is designed to effectively brighten, cleanse and even tone the skin while providing resurfacing benefits. Gentle enough to use daily, this unique formula has ingredients designed to lighten and protect the skin with topical anti-oxidants as it helps condition the skin and retain its moisture level. The soap offers an ideal treatment to prepare the skin for the enhanced effectiveness of the entire range of Makari de Suisse Skin clarifying products.




Price: Rs 800 for 200 g. (The soap which was sent to me was a sample piece of 30g)

About the product:

Makari has a whole range of skin whitening, anti aging and skin care products.  You can check their site here. I am quiet satisfied with their creams too, will be reviewing them soon too. 

All the Makari products have an active ingredient called Vegeclarine, which is 100% natural and acts as a cleansing and skin whitening agent.
Makari’s Clarifying antiseptic soap is an exfoliating bar which can be used for baths or just face too. I found the soap way too cute to be washed away; I found it like a barfi. :P It comes in this hexagonal shape. 






How to use the Makari’s clarifying antiseptic soap:

Use daily in the bath or shower. For maximum effect of the soaps whitening properties please keep lather on for at least 5 minutes. (In brief use it as your normal soap)

Why I like Makari’s Clarifying antiseptic soap:
• I loved the shape. 
• The soap has a very pleasant smell; it leaves a lingering smell for like 2-3 hours after using it.
• The soap is not very harsh on the skin; I mean being an exfoliator it doesn’t really harm your skin.
• It didn’t cause any break outs to me, I have a sensitive acne prone skin so new products tend to irritate my skin or cause pimples; this didn’t do anything as such. 
• I have been using the soap twice a day and I seriously find my skin one shade lighter. 
• It’s suitable for all skin types, I can say this, since I, my Mom and my younger brother , all of us use it, and all have different skin types. 
• It doesn’t dry out my skin which using happens after scrubbing and exfoliating.  So I need not moisturize my skin after washing my face with it. 



Why I do not like the Makari’s Clarifying antiseptic soap:

• The price. 
• The availability.
• If rubbed harshly on the skin, especially on the face, may cause irritation.


Repurchase/recommendation: Yes, I would repurchase it, for my Mom, and I recommend this to all the women who are looking for a skin whitener or a smooth and not at all harsh exfoliator. 

About the brand:
